How it works

Three taps to a driver.

Built for the moment you are stood at the roadside, so nothing gets in the way.

1

See who is near you

Allow location or type a postcode. The map shows every driver live nearby and how many miles away each one is.

2

Call the driver

Tap Call and speak to them directly. Agree the price between you before they set off.

3

Watch them arrive

Give the driver your six-digit code and follow them on the map, with a live arrival time, until they reach you.

Why people trust it

A live map only works if it is true.

So we check every driver, and the map only ever shows drivers who are actually out.

Checked before they go live

Driving licence, photo ID, insurance certificate and photographs of every truck, reviewed by our team. Nobody appears on the map until they pass.

Real positions, right now

Drivers share their position while they work. If a truck is on the map, it is out and reachable — not a listing last updated years ago.

Reviews that are checked

Only customers who completed a job can leave a rating, and each one is looked at before it counts.

The price is yours to agree

We are not in the middle of the payment. No commission, no booking fee, no membership — which is also why it stays cheaper than cover.

Recovery in Belfast: where it usually goes wrong

Belfast is unusually well served by motorway for its size: the M1, M2 and M3 all reach into the centre and meet at the Westlink. That makes recovery quick when the roads are moving and very slow when they are not, because the Westlink has almost nowhere to stop and nowhere to get past a stationary car.

The Westlink and the M1/M2 junctions

Sunken, fast and with minimal hard shoulder. If your car is still moving, keep going to a slip road.

The M2 north and the Sydenham bypass

Faster, more open roads with better places to stop.

The A55 Outer Ring

The main orbital route, with roundabouts and steady traffic throughout the day.

The city centre and the docks

Restricted access in places and a lot of standing traffic around the ferry terminals.

Worth knowing. On the Westlink, junction and direction. Nothing else locates you quickly.
Questions

Before you call.

It depends on who is out. The map shows every driver live in Belfast right now and the app shows how many miles away each one is, so you can see before you call rather than being given a time by a call centre.

You agree the price with the driver on the phone before they set off. RecoverQ adds nothing to it — no booking fee, no commission and no membership.

Every driver is checked before they can go live: driving licence, photo ID, insurance certificate and photographs of each truck, all reviewed by our team.

No. Open the map, see who is live, and call. If the driver takes the job you get a six-digit code and can watch them on their way.

Anywhere a driver is live. Drivers in Belfast regularly cover Lisburn, Newtownabbey, Bangor, Carrickfergus, Holywood, Dundonald and Antrim, and the main routes — the M1, M2, M3 and Westlink, the A2, A24 and A55 Outer Ring.
